Build each project’s billing schedule of values — how the client is billed against the contract, which differs job to job. Start from the proposal scope or the QBO conversion, whichever is closer, then combine, add and edit until the total equals the contract. The Billing portal bills (AIA G702/G703) off this schedule, and AR, collections and retainage all follow it. Job profitability is measured separately, off the ECS → QBO cost and revenue codes.
