Convert a won estimate into QuickBooks Online income accounts and set the project’s invoice type. This is a pre-construction step — billing & invoicing happen in the Billing portal once converted.
Income accounts
These map to your QuickBooks Online income accounts (parent: Sales). Mostly fixed — edit here if your chart of accounts changes. Account # can be left blank (e.g. "Other").
Cost codes (COGS)
Your QuickBooks Online cost of goods sold accounts (5xxx). The group decides where a code appears in the per-line picker. In use counts the ECS → QBO lines currently coded to it, across every project.
